Hair raising – £760 raised, Thank you.

 

A Hillview school friend of Alex has donated her hair to the little princess trust and raised money for us at the same time.

“Hello! Just thought I would keep you update as the day is looming and it is this Thursday I will be donating my hair. I have, at this current point, raised £355, I have couple more people who hopefully will donate so hoping it may be a little bit more. But regardless I’m very pleased with the amount I have raised so far and thought I would keep you posted ????”

Filippa runs and raises over £1,100

Congratulations to one of our supporter’s Filippa Furniss, who completed the Royal Windsor Half Trail Marathon on Sunday 3rd June with two of her friends in an impressive 2:09:59 and has raised over £1,100! It was a scorcher of a day at 27 degrees! But she did it within her target and finished with a smile! Congratulations Filippa and thank you for choosing to support our trust and the work that we do, it is very much appreciated!

Golf day raises a fantastic £610

Thank you to Azra Cathering and Linton Seafoods Golf Day at Poult Wood Golf Club which managed to raise a fantastic £610. With a steady flow of refreshments, a carvery lunch and a raffle to finish off, a great day was had by all! Thanks to all golfers for taking part and to the organiser Mark Pierson for your continued to support to the trust.

Football match raises nearly £1000

Huge thank you to the Eagle Crystal Palace Fitter Fans and their Dutch opponents V.V Hekelingen who drew 1-1 at the Crystal Palace football stadium on Sunday! The trust are delighted that the teams chose to support The Alexandra Sales Trust with the day raising just under £1000. A fantastic donation and it was a pleasure for trustee Georgina and supporters to meet such a kind-hearted and friendly group of guys. Our deepest condolences to the guest team who sadly lost a dear friend the day before the match to cancer. 
 

Al’s Gal’s Isle of Wight Challenge 5th May

Well the Al’s Gals have done it. 66 miles around the Isle of Wight non-stop in heat of 30 deg in the day. Amazing achievement and you should all be so proud of yourselves. We are so proud of you all.

Any donations large or small will go towards helping The Alexandra Sales Trust continue their work in providing 'smile money' to children and young people living with cancer. Sadly with so many children and families needing that support, the Trust's work is never done and we know that this challenge has contributed to gifting children and young people some time out of the every day reality of treatment and coping with cancer.

Thank you for your support, it is hugely appreciated in helping the Trust continue their work and to keep Alexandra's memory alive, who was just 17 when she passed away in 2014 from a rare form of cancer.
