Thank you Emma!!!!
On the 18th September 2015 we traveled from London to Paris on Eurostar. Then the agony started as we set off to cycled through the middle of France, across the Massif Central.
So who took part? was it 12 fit, young athletes who wouldn’t be out of place in the Chippendales?
Well no… it was 12 middle aged gents who wouldn’t be out of place in the pub with chips and ale!
Bikes were purchased, training commenced, diets modified….all to take on this challenge of cycling over 500 miles in 7 days in aid of those affected by teenage cancer.
They were supported throughout the ride by three volunteer support drivers. All of the participants funded the cost of the trip themselves, ensuring that one hundred percent of the funds raised go directly into the Trust.
